Ripley is a particular little lady who knows what she wants - at 13 she is looking for a cat-savvy home that will respect her and give her treats. Ripley has lived with other cats and with dogs her whole life, so we expect her to do well in a home with other animals. She also loves treats - she will take them from your fingers and meow at you to give her some! She looks at you with the prettiest big eyes when she wants some attention. She also loves getting the occasional chin scratch. Ripley prefers not to be picked up but she's not a biter and if she wants to be left alone she'll give you plenty of cues to communicate her wanting space, usually by batting you with her paws and give a little yeowl of disapproval. Ripley would do best in a home without small children and with people who will respect her for who she is. At 13, she's looking for a retirement home that will spoil her. Ripley was surrendered to us in June when her family moved and could not take her with them. Ripley's adoption fee has been sponsored and includes her being spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to adopt, the first step is to fill out an application at sftsrescue.org
