Hello my name is Sloan, I am a sweet and affectionate little girl pup who is 6 months old and I can't wait to meet my forever family so that I can give lots of love. I am a very lovable pup and really enjoy human company. I would love a home that can give me plenty of physical and mental exercise as I am very inquisitive and enjoying learning new things and of course lots of love! If you are looking for a cuddle buddy I am the pup for you. I love to snuggle on the sofa, go for walks and play with my squeaky ball and I am getting really good at fetching and bringing it back to my foster mummy and daddy. I am learning lots of new things like sit, lay and stay and it's fun when I get ear rubs for being a good girl. I am curious and have been experiencing new things like walking up and down stairs and riding the elevator, I was a little nervous at first but seem to be getting the hang of it now. Sometimes strange noises make me jump and I bark for a minute and get a little nervous but as soon as my foster parents let me know it's all ok I am good. I enjoy plenty of naps and I am good at taking time to decompress during the day. I am settling into my crate well and last night I was such a good girl and settled straight away and slept all through the night, although it takes a few treats to get me in once I am in it I get to relax and as a bonus I get to sleep with mummies T-shirt. I am still working on house training and so far it is going well, I had a couple of accidents the first few days in my foster home but now I am getting good at going potty on my walks. I am living in an apartment at the minute and it's pretty cool, so will adjust well to city or suburb living. There are lots of cars where we live and I'm very good around them. I can't wait to meet my forever family! Love Sloan xx Sloan is 6 months old and may be about 50-60 lbs when fully grown. She is up to date on all age appropriate medical care and microchipped. Her breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as "unknown breed", buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is fill out an adoption application at www.muddypawsrescue.org.
