Roxie is a quiet, chunk of a girl at almost 12 1/2 lbs! She originally came to our shelter as a transfer from Madisonville Animal Control. She was adopted quickly but did not thrive in her new environment. Her new family noticed some issues and did their best to address them. An addition of a second cat to the household further added to Roxie's stress and her family brought her back to the shelter. We believe that Roxie had some underlying issues that made her living situation impossible for both her and her adoptive family. Roxie was bonded with another kitty but at this point in her life, should be an only pet. She has been put on a special urinary diet and has been an absolute lady about using her litter box during her time at the shelter. We believe that Roxie is extremely picky about her litter box habits and will need a family that understands this. She should also be limited to a small area of her new home until she fully relaxes and feels comfortable. With a bit of patience and understanding, Roxie would be an amazing addition to a quiet, low key home.
