FOSTER NOTES (He was fostered over Thanksgiving by a foster volunteer): "I am as sweet as can be. I just came back from foster care. I was told I was a perfect gentleman, says my Foster Mom & Dad. I got along very well with their 2 dogs. I really enjoy walks. Did I say I enjoy walks? I LOVE walks! . . . I really need a home with a nice BIG FLUFFY bed. I like to lay around and enjoy my people. I love to rest my head on your leg or your arms and be petted. Yeah, that's my thing!.... I mostly want LOVE that's it, and maybe a couple of treats too! . . . If I am lucky enough to go home with you - I won't disappoint!" **********ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM VOLUNTEER MONICA: KARL the German Shepherd is a sweet dog. He is looking for someone, or a family, who can HELP him enjoy the outdoors; to enjoy the beautiful grass outside to sniff and of course do his business outside. He seems kennel trained, therefore he might be housebroken. If you look at his photos, especially the ones close up of his face you will see some sadness - he seems to be longing for a place to call his own rather than living in a kennel that has loud barking dogs right next door to him. He is a senior dog and he wants to just enjoy someone's company that can help him get around. If you're a German Shepherd fan + a supporter of senior dogs, consider KARL as your next foster dog or EVEN a potential forever home to help him live in an environment where he can relax and enjoy whatever years he has left. In my opinion KARL is one of the best senior dogs around - he just needs help getting around and he really does appreciate it - so many tail wags! **December 2022 VIDEO** ----> https://youtu.be/dDfxJnxpQng (you might need to copy & paste the video link)
