Station ACCT-A-95789 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to medical concerns. Station must have confirmed placement with an adopter or rescue partner by Sunday, August 8, 2021, 10am. Station is a senior male community cat brought in when a good Samaritan noted he had an injury. During his interaction, he described him as "very gentle." Upon intake, he was noted to have a tail injury which required amputation of his tail. This amputation was done and he has fared well, however his bloodwork has also revealed early kidney insufficiency which is not well monitored in our care currently and he would do well to be placed in an environment where he could receive more dedicated attention and care to ensure his condition does not worsen. Confirmed placement is considered a processed adoption or a confirmation of rescue pull by the indicated date and time. Possible placement, interested parties, and other "to be determined statuses are not considered confirmed and do not indicate an animal is no longer urgent. ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Please visit www.acctphilly.org/adopt for details.
