Meet Loosa, the sweet and affectionate pup looking for her forever home! With a perfect balance of playfulness and relaxation, she’s a medium-energy dog who loves to nap and cuddle just as much as she enjoys exploring. Her gentle and loving nature makes her a joy to be around, and she happily soaks up all the attention from anyone willing to give it.
On walks, Loosa is a dream—she’s amazing on a leash and never pulls, making every stroll enjoyable. She already knows the “sit” command and is highly treat-motivated, so she’s eager to learn more tricks. She’s also incredibly gentle when taking treats, making training sessions easy and fun. While she’s still teething and may give little nibbles, it’s all part of her puppy phase and easily redirected with a toy.
Loosa is always curious and wants to be in the know, following you around like a loyal shadow. At bedtime, she settles into her crate quickly and sleeps soundly through the night for a full eight hours. She tolerates car rides well but prefers a little encouragement to hop in.
When meeting new people, Loosa may need a few minutes to warm up. She can be a bit timid during initial meetings and hide behind her humans. With the right treats and some patience, she'll be your buddy in no time!
If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly, and devoted companion, Loosa is the perfect match. She’s ready to bring joy, loyalty, and plenty of puppy love into your life—adopt Loosa today at Guilford County Animal Shelter!
As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines.
To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
