Are you looking for a super smart, funny, and loyal dog who tells you exactly what she wants? Then look no further than perfect Pippa!

**Pippa did a 16 day stay & train at Paramount from January 15th through February 1st. She'll have free follow-up for her adopter to continue training methods. She'll be on and off leash trained**

This dog is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with the dog’s training, personality, and needs. They’re a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw.

Pippa is a 6 year old Coonhound and weighs about 70 lbs. Do NOT let her age fool you-Pippa has a fire for life and adventure. Pippa is known for hopping up immediately for a walk, and will race to volunteers’ cars for the opportunity for a car ride! She enjoys a good long walk in the park, a good back scratch in the grass, and then a nice cuddly nap.

Another LOVE of Pippa’s is swimming! She got to go on a few dock diving trips last summer, where she had an absolute blast in the water. She was well-behaved and so adorable in her life jacket.

Pippa has one of the most memorable personalities that ARF has ever seen. She is so loved by volunteers for her intelligence, humor, and sass. Pippa is not shy to let volunteers know when she needs to go out, when she wants to play, and when she's ready to nap. She makes volunteers laugh when she rolls halfway on her back and falls asleep with her front feet in the air and ears falling over her bed.

In addition to being smart, Pippa is also very strong, but so are her growing training skills! She is a graduate of our Grafton training program, and although it may take some practice with her new owners, Pippa is treat motivated which helps with training.

The best furever home for Pippa would be one without small children, due to her strength.
Pippa is doing well with the dogs in her foster home, but a meet and greet is a must. She will need a home without cats or small caged pets. Pippa is looking for a home that is a good mix of active and couch potato.
